Investor Settings

  Investor Global Settings

Global Trade Setting   Using this setting, Credebt Exchange® sets the maximum limit on the total value they will buy in any one month and this is cumulative over a year. For example, if the Global Trade Setting is EUR 50,000 and in the first two months of the year Credebt Exchange® only purchases EUR 60,000, in month three although the Trade Setting is EUR 50,000 they actually have EUR 90,000 available (because they didn’t use their total monthly trading limit and have EUR 40,000 left from the two previous months)

Global Risk Setting   Using this setting, Credebt Exchange® sets Risk value and the percentage below this Risk Score (provided by third-party analysts) that they are willing to accept for both Originators and debtors. So for example, Originator Risk value is set to 70 with a 5% margin and the Debtor Risk value is 91 with a 25% margin; for a specific trade where the Debtor Risk Score is 70 and the Originator Risk Score is 66, because the Debtor Risk Score is above 69 (i.e. 25% below 91) and the Originator Risk Score is 66 (i.e. 5% below 70 rounded down), the system will automatically trade. However, if the Debtor Risk Score was 68 and/or Originator Risk Score was 65, it would not

Global Outright Purchase   To enable automated trading, this is a minimum discount percentage value, that Credebt Exchange® requires against the ‘Face Value‘ of any invoice that is being offered as an Outright Sale, i.e. at a fixed price. For example, if an invoice with a ‘Face Value‘ of EUR 10,000 is put up for trade and the Credebt Exchange® Global Outright Purchase setting is 5.000%, then the Originator will receive a single, one-time payment of EUR 9,500 (less transaction fees) within a few days of that ‘Traded Invoice‘ occuring. This is applied to all automated trading on all trades and is the Credebt Exchange® default Global Outright Purchase Setting

Global Managed Purchase   This is the maximum monthly percentage that Credebt Exchange® is willing to give the Originator for any invoice, or batch of invoices, that are put up for trade on a Managed Sale basis. For example, if an invoice with a ‘Face Value‘ of EUR 10,000, that is payable in 60 days, is put up for trade and Credebt Exchange® Global Managed Purchase setting is 0.625% per month, then the Originator will receive EUR 9,625 (less transaction fees) within a few days of that ‘Traded Invoice‘ occuring. If the invoice is paid any time before 180 days have elapsed, then the Originator receives the Reserve that is refunded on a 1/360 basis. If it took 90 days to get paid, this equates to EUR 187.50 (less transaction fees)

Global Guaranteed Purchase   This is the maximum monthly percentage that Credebt Exchange® is willing to give the Originator for any invoice, or batch of invoices, that are put up for trade on a Guaranteed Sale basis. For example, if an invoice with a ‘Face Value‘ of EUR 10,000, that is guaranteed to be paid in 60 days or less, is put up for trade and Credebt Exchange® Global Guaranteed Purchase setting is 0.500% per month, the Originator will receive EUR 9,700 (less transaction fees) within a few days of that ‘Traded Invoice‘ occuring. If the invoice is paid on, or before, 60 days the Originator receives the Reserve and is refunded EUR 200.00 (less transaction fees). If it is paid later than the guaranteed time of 60 days, Credebt Exchange® keeps the Reserve

Global Buy Settings   Credebt Exchange® can choose to set the maximum and minimum Buy Settings or limits on all invoices ‘Face Value‘ it will buy, e.g. Maximum: EUR 25,000 – Minimum EUR 5,000.

  Investor Specific Settings

Credit Limit   This setting permits Credebt Exchange® to set the percentage above the Credit Limits (provided by third-party analysts) they are willing to accept for both Originators and debtors. For example, an invoice being auctioned at a ‘Face Value‘ of EUR 21,000 where the Debtor Credit Limit is EUR 20,000 and the Originator Credit Limit is EUR 15,000, if Credebt Exchange® has set 100% for the Debtor Credit Limit percentage and 50% for the Originator Credit Limit percentage, because the debtor invoice value is below EUR 40,000 (i.e. EUR 20,000 + 100%) and the Originator Credit Limit is below EUR 22,500 (i.e. EUR 15,000 + 50%); the system will bid on the invoice. However, if the Originator Credit Limit was 25% (i.e. EUR 18,750) and/or the Debtor Credit Limit percentage was 0%, it would not

Notification Settings   Credebt Exchange® can opt to receive email notifications from the trading system according to the following options:

Category Settings   Every Originator and debtor is classified according to their NACE Industry Codes and there are 33 main NACE Categories [NACCC] with a total of some 800 specific industry classifications or NACE Descriptions [NACED]. Using these options, Credebt Exchange® can choose what Category of Originator they wish to deal with. The Investor decides what Debtor Category and under what Credit and Risk variables they will accept invoices from

Debtor Settings   As an alternative to the Category Settings, professional Investors can decide to only purchase specific debtor’s invoices, for example ‘Ford Motor Company’ regardless of who the Originator is. Selection can be made from the the name(s) from the Global Debtors Listing by choosing the specific debtor(s). This list of debtors is presented in alphabetical order and once Credebt Exchange® finds the company they will buy invoices from, they simply check a box and then enter the Specific Debtor Limits [SDL] (i.e. the Credit and Risk settings they will accept for this debtor). Once Credebt Exchange® has checked any box for any debtor, whenever they access this section of the trading system they are presented with their list of debtors in the Investor portfolio management console and can see the alphabetical list of selected debtors

Originator Settings   Another alternative to the Category or Debtor Settings is where the Investors can decide only to purchase invoices from a specific Originator(s). They do this by selecting the name(s) from the Global Originators Listing and then then enter the Specific Originator Limits [STL] (i.e. the Credit and Risk settings they will accept for this Originator). Once Credebt Exchange® has checked any box for any debtor, whenever they access this section of the trading system they are presented with their list of Originators in the Investor portfolio management console and can see the alphabetical list of selected Originators
